The Safety and Health Achievement and Recognition Programs (SHARP) is a pilot program administered by OSHA. According to the NC Department of Labor, the program is designed for construction worksites with comprehensive effective safety and health programs. The program honors ‘construction sector employers’ in North Carolina for their superior leadership in occupational safety and health management.
Baker Roofing Company was awarded the SHARP Award on the Friendly Center, Greensboro, NC. The Baker Roofing Company team lead by Mike Ratchford and Scott Sunday logged over 50,000 man hours on the project with no recordable incidents. This award was given in conjunction with D.H. Griffin Construction Company (the GC on the project). Great job Greensboro Team!
