Your roof is a key part of your safety and comfort. Read Baker’s top three tips on how to keep your roof fire resistant.

  1. Fire-Resistant Materials ~ Use fire-resistant materials to cover your roof. It’s important to talk to your roofing contractor about the best roofing materials. Class A roof materials are the most fire resistant.

  2. Clean your Roof ~ Regularly cleaning your roof is something that you should constantly do. If debris builds up on your roof and catch on fire there is a much greater chance your roof could catch on fire. It’s important to clean your roof especially as the seasons change.

  3. Fix holes in your Roof ~ It is very important to fix the holes in your roof. If you are missing shingles or have holes in your roof you need to have them repaired. The damaged places in your roof are much more likely to catch on fire.
