Salvation Army + Baker Roofing

Here at Baker we are proud of the work we do year round with the Salvation Army. They have been serving Wake County since 1887. Our Chairman, Prentiss Baker, is also on the board for the Salvation Army of Wake County, so we have opportunities year round to get involved.

Baker Roofing employees participate in fundraising events for the Salvation Army during the work week and after hours. Most recently we have been collecting food items to refill their pantry since the devastation caused hurricanes Florence and Michael. They strive to feed 50 families a week, and we will continue to spread the word to help them prepare their pantry for the holidays.

The Salvation Army is most recognized for their presence during the holiday season, ringing the red bell at participating stores to raise money. Every year, Baker Roofing donates their employees as volunteers during work hours to help ring the bell and collect donations to be given to those in need.

We look forward to this opportunity to get involved with our community in a festive and meaningful way. Keep an eye out for us this season! If you see someone ringing the bell in a Baker Roofing shirt, come say hey! The Salvation Army brings joy to over 15,000 people through their holiday programs. We encourage you to get involved this season. It is a rewarding experience that you can do on your own, with family, or with your coworkers. Here is the link to their holiday volunteer opportunities.
