Boot Barn’s Lynchburg store needed a dependable roof that would protect its merchandise and keep the doors open for customers. Instead of a full tear-off, our Roanoke crew installed a recover system directly over the existing roof. We mechanically fastened 1″ polyiso insulation to the deck and then installed a 60 mil TPO membrane, a single-ply roofing sheet known for its reflective, energy-efficient surface and heat-welded seams.
The recover was part of the store’s fit-up, so the crew worked around new equipment curbs, existing HVAC units, and rooftop penetrations, flashing each one into the new membrane. Skipping the tear-off cut down on debris and disruption at a busy retail center while adding insulation value. Our own crews self-performed every phase of the job, and as a 100% employee-owned company, Baker stands behind the finished roof.
