Our Greensboro team replaced select low-slope roof sections on this downtown Winston-Salem church with a new Carlisle 90 mil EPDM system, working around its historic slate roofs and stone parapets.

Centenary United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem called on our Greensboro team to replace the roof on sections of the building the church identified. Our crew tore each section down to the concrete deck and installed a new vapor barrier, a layer that keeps moisture from inside the building from working up into the roof system. We then installed a new roof assembly finished with Carlisle 90 mil EPDM, a thick, durable rubber membrane known for standing up to weather over the long term. New lead-coated copper and stainless steel metal trim completed the work.
The low-slope sections sit tight against the church’s slate roofs and stone walls, so every edge and transition had to be detailed carefully to protect the original materials around them. Our own crews performed the work from tear-off to final trim, and as a 100% employee-owned company, we stand behind every section we install.
