Heritage Slate Roof Restoration | Historic Church Building
At Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh’s Five Points neighborhood, our team completed a full tear-off and heritage-grade slate roof restoration, installing La Bana slate in Unfading Black across the church’s Classical brick structure. Every detail received the same artisan attention, from built-in gutters and drip edge to step flashings, counter flashings, valleys, ridge flashings, and the radius dormers, all finished in 20 oz copper.
Founded in 1926 and rebuilt on this same site after a 1962 fire, this church has stood as a gathering place for the Five Points community for generations. Work like this is about protecting that history for the next hundred years, not just the next roof cycle
