Standing Seam Metal Roof Installation | Multi-Use Athletic Building
NC State University added a new metal multi-use building at Doak Field, home of Wolfpack baseball, and our steep-slope team was brought in to roof it. Working alongside general contractor New South Construction, we installed a new standing seam metal roof made from .040 aluminum, a corrosion-resistant metal well suited to an exposed outdoor venue. The panels were joined with double-lock seams, where the panel edges are folded over twice for added strength against wind and water. The project was completed in June 2026.
A ballpark building sits in full view of players and fans, so the roof had to perform and look sharp from every angle, including from the air. Our crews kept seam lines straight and transitions clean while coordinating closely with the rest of the construction schedule. Every panel was installed by our own people, not subcontractors, and as a 100% employee-owned company, we stand behind the finished roof long after the last seam is locked.
