Baker Roofing Company was founded in Raleigh in 1915, when William Prentiss Baker opened his first shop on Gale Street, four blocks from the Capitol. Today, we are headquartered just down the road in Cary, still serving the Triangle we have called home for over 110 years

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Every part of Baker Roofing Company traces back to a sign W.P. Baker posted on his shop door in downtown Raleigh: “We shall do good work, at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always good work.” That sign still hangs in our headquarters today, a short drive away in Cary, where our team continues to serve commercial properties across Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and the greater Triangle region. We are proud of where we started, and just as committed to the community that helped us grow, providing commercial roof repair, maintenance, replacement, and new construction roofing across the region we have never stopped calling home.
