At the Medical Arts Building in Charleston, our team completed a one-day roof upfit for a new condensing unit stand. We removed roofing down to the deck at each of four support posts, flashed every post into the existing single-ply membrane, and sealed both lineset penetrations with pipe boot flashings.
Medical offices can’t afford leaks over patient care areas or disruptions to their schedules. Completing the fit-up in a single day kept the roof work brief, and a watertight connection at every post leaves the new equipment ready to set without putting the building below at risk.
