Remember that your safety is the most important thing, do not try to get onto the roof if you suspect any significant damage. We are here to help you with all of your roofing needs at any time. Following any severe storm, feel free to request a post-storm inspection to ensure your roof has not sustained any damage or new deficiencies that could cause issues in the future.
BEFORE THE STORM
- Have your roof inspected by a reputable company. Repairs made now can save a lot of unnecessary damage if a storm hits.
- Be sure any debris is removed from the roof.
- Check all roof drainage.
- Trim all vegetation/trees near the roof.
- Have all rooftop HVAC units inspected and ensure doors are secure.
- This is also a good time to check on insurance and warranties. Keep them in a safe place.
AFTER THE STORM
- If you think you may have any damage to your roofing system, Call Baker Roofing Company. DO NOT attempt to get on your roof.
- Take pictures of any roofing materials that blew off and any damage that can be seen from the ground.
- If the damage is minor and you do have leaks inside, move all inventory/property away from the area until the leaks are repaired.
- If the damage is major and a portion or all of your roof has blown off, stay out of the building until a roofing professional is called.
